Humanitarian solutions with an understanding of context

We understand the context and needs of communities in the Kharkiv region, from frontline areas to densely populated areas with IDPs. This allows us to direct support where it is needed most and create solutions that help people navigate the crisis and recover.

Kupyansk

Kupyanskyi district

Key needs: drinking water, medical assistance, food kits, evacuation support.

Situation: The district remains one of the most affected by the fighting. Access to basic services in frontline communities is limited.

Chuguiv

This is an interactive display of the Kharkiv region's "hotspots" where humanitarian stress is highest. Our map is not just geography, it's a living index of needs - from lack of connectivity to threats to food security.

How we collect data?

To ensure that assistance is truly targeted, we constantly collect information from various sources:

Local government bodies

Network of local coordinators

UBA team away games

Local chats and volunteers

How it works our help mechanism

Request and verification of needs

We receive requests from communities, local partners, etc. We check the relevance and prioritize the needs.

Situation assessment

We take into account the security situation, the number of people from vulnerable groups, logistical risks, and the possibility of rapid implementation.

Finding the best solution

We do not work according to a template - we select the format of assistance according to the real context of the community.

Secure logistics and implementation
We deliver aid or launch processes. We use decentralized delivery protocols to avoid creating dangerous crowds.
Monitoring

We collect feedback, record changes, and evaluate results. For us, it's not just numbers that matter, but also the real impact on people's lives and the resilience of communities.

What does help provide? «"here and now"»

The lack of support today means increased social tension, population outflow, and humanitarian isolation of entire districts. Timely administration of processes means stabilizing the community, returning children to social life in the hubs, and relieving "humanitarian stress" through targeted solutions.
Creation Community Action Center in one of the communities of the Kharkiv region

Problem:

Based on our monitoring data and direct inquiries from local coordinators, we identified the community as a critical point on the map of the Kharkiv region. Currently, there there is no safe space for interaction, which leads to the degradation of social ties and increased humanitarian stress among residents.

Our solution:

Deployment and full administration of Prostor, which operates as a multifunctional hub 24/7.

Expected result:
For 2,500 residents:
restoring constant access to communications, heat, and safety equipment.
For community children:
creating a protected space for learning and psycho-emotional relief.
Adult:
launching a platform where residents can take the initiative and plan recovery together.
